Forrest “Fuzzy” Wilburn Flook

Forrest Wilburn Flook, affectionately known as “Fuzzy”, 90, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026.

Born on January 22, 1935 in Salladasburg, PA to the late Melvin J. Flook and Agnes C. Flook (Myers), Forrest was a hard worker — he started on his family farm and then went on to work at a few other jobs until he ended up at Bethlehem Steel until his retirement.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the great outdoors, which he loved sharing with his grandchildren. Fuzzy also enjoyed putting puzzles together and watching his favorite shows, especially Gunsmoke and John Wayne movies. He was a people person — he could walk into any room, in any state, and run into someone he knew. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Mary D. Flook, who passed away May 29, 2024.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, sister Ruth Deitrick, and two brothers, Irvin Flook and Bruce Flook.

Surviving are two daughters, Christine (Wayne) Moyer, of Muncy, Candace (Bruce) Crissman, of Williamsport, and a son, Barry (Mindi) Flook, of Strasburg; 9 grandchildren, Michael (Chantal) Moyer, Nathan (Raquel) Moyer, Jason (Ashley) Moyer, Ben (Rachel) Moyer, Anastasia (Kohl) Knopp, Austin Crissman, Emily Flook, Joshua Mellinger and William Mellinger; and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, McClure “Tom” (Peggy) Flook, and two sisters, Connie (Kenneth) Packer and Wanda (Westley) Mayes.

A private graveside service will be held for immediate family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
