James D. Gulick

James D. Gulick, 85, husband of Sharon L. (Bell) Gulick, of Linden, PA passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

Born in Sunbury, PA on August 16, 1940, he was the son of the late John Yuhas and Edith Gulick.

For many years he was employed in the automotive/autobody business and was formerly employed by Karsten Manufacturing of Phoenix, AZ, the manufacturer of Ping golf clubs from 1984-1991.

Sharon and James were wed on April 24, 1976 and would have shared 50 years of marriage this year.

He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed attending car shows and playing billiards.

James also enjoyed the outdoors, including camping and fishing and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Williamsport, PA.

Along with his wife he is survived by three sons, Mike Higgins of Sunbury, PA, James Spong of Phoenix, AZ and Jed Gulick of Lake Wylie, SC; three daughters, Janet Mahaffey of Benton, PA, Danielle Spong of Phoenix, AZ and Jami Haushalter of Lock Haven PA, and many grand and great grandchildren.

There are no scheduled public services at this time.

The family has entrusted the services of the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., (d/b/a Cremation Society of North Central PA) 408 South Main St. Jersey Shore, PA, to James final arrangements.
