James L. Teed

James L. Teed, of Scott Depot, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on December 29, 2025. He was born on March 20, 1947, and lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and service to others.

Jim was a successful entrepreneur and business owner who founded and operated multiple businesses throughout his career, most notably Teed & Associates, CPAs. Through his work, he earned the respect of colleagues and clients for his professionalism, integrity, and commitment to excellence. Jim was a graduate of Morris Harvey College. Jim enjoyed a good game of chess and playing tennis in his younger days. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Hunting Club.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jim was devoted to his family and took pride in providing for them. He was known for his perseverance, wisdom, and strong work ethic, qualities that will continue to live on through those he loved.

Jim is survived by his brother, Jerald Teed (Gail) and sister, Joan Helmrich (Vic); daughter, Marlene Mallory (Roger) and son, Jonathan Teed (Tate’); grandchildren, and many more family and loved ones, who will cherish his memory and the legacy he leaves behind. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, John and Shirley (Roby) Teed and daughter, Christina Teed.

James L. Teed will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

A service will be held at a later date for friends and family in Morris, PA.
