Frances A. “Fluffy” Dannelley
Frances A. “Fluffy” Dannelley, 79, of Cogan Station, died Friday, February 6, 2026, at UPMC Williamsport. Born November 18, 1946, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas N. and the late Frances J. (Alexander) Bratton. Fluffy married Joseph H. Dannelley on March 17, 1973, and shared 52 years of marriage.
Fluffy and her husband Joseph shared a wonderful life. Fluffy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed playing the piano and guitar. Fluffy graduated from Lewistown High School and the Thompson Business Institute. After her graduation she worked for the Harrisburg and Lewistown Hospitals in the billing and accounting departments. As a talented artist, she enjoyed drawing with a special love for horses.
Fluffy was a dedicated member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed telling others about God’s Kingdom and how that gave her a hope for her future. Even sharing with her nurses JOB 14; 15, “You will call and I will answer you”. Always an optimist with a ready smile and a sweet accepting nature.
Fluffy is survived by her husband Joseph H. Dannelley, Jr.; sons, Benjamin J. Dannelley, of Cogan Station, Abel N. Dannelley, of Butler, Seth T. (Cynthia) Dannelley, of Cogan Station; sister, Barbara (Theodore) Koskey, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Logan, Kacie, Hunter Dannelley.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 14, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, with Elder James Staggert officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
