Jewel M. (Stiber) Steimling
Jewel M. (Stiber) Steimling, 91, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026, at UPMC Williamsport. She was born in Williamsport on June 6, 1934, a daughter of the late Miles H. and Belva E. (Phillips) Stiber.
Jewel worked at and retired from Wundies. She liked to work in her yard and loved to dote on her four cats, Bandit, Buttons, Bowie, and Boomer. Jewel enjoyed the beach and cherished her many trips to Ocean City, New Jersey. She attended countless NASCAR races with her beloved husband, the late William I. Steimling. Together, they spent over 62 years together, raising their family, camping, and traveling.
Jewel is survived by two sons, Keith A. Steimling (Kimberly) of Hughesville; and William R. Steimling (Angela) of Shamokin Dam; three daughters, Diane E. Smith of Williamsport; Barbara A. Dugan of Watsontown; and Cynthia L. Smithmyer (Scott) of Howard; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, William, Jewel is preceded in death by a brother, Max L. Stiber and a sister, Joan P. Dymeck.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Montoursville.
