Robert E. “Bob” Little
Robert E. “Bob” Little, 99, a longtime resident of Muncy, died on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Wolf Run Village, Hughesville, where he resided the past 4 years.
Born December 13, 1926, in Muncy, he was a son of the late Walter and Virgina (Temple) Little. On February 26, 1949, he married the former Mary E. Ritter, who predeceased him.
Bob attended Muncy High School and joined the United States Army in 1945, serving honorably during World War II. Following his time in service, he later retired from the former Sprout Waldron, now Andritz, after 38 years, and becoming part of their Quarter Century Club.
Bob was a member of the Muncy Presbyterian Church.
He was a very active fisherman, hunter and enjoyed golfing after retirement. Bob also shot competitive archery for many years, where he spent endless hours mastering his skill.
Surviving are three children, Carol Snell and Michael Little and his wife, Linda, all of Muncy, and Virginia Glossner and her husband, Mark, of Montoursville; one sister, Alice Miller, of Montgomery; 10 grandchildren, Heather, Bonnie, Ricci, Amy, Chet, Mary, Timothy, Tami, Andy and Kate; 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by three brothers, Earl, Paul and William Little; one sister, Florence Reese; one brother-in-law, Raymond Miller; and three sons-in-law, Thomas Smith, Stephen Crawford and Terry Snell.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, February 26 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St. Muncy.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 27 in the Muncy Cemetery, with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 a.m. at the Muncy Presbyterian Church, 10 E. Penn St. Muncy.
