Sandra Lee Britton (Wert)

Sandra Lee Britton (Wert), 79, of Conway, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026. Born September 6, 1946, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she was raised in Williamsport PA and was a graduate of Williamsport High School.

Sandra, lovingly known as Sandy, was a woman of deep faith whose love for Jesus guided her life. She was known for her kind heart, infectious smile, and joyful laugh. Her greatest joy was her family, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Cranmer (Jay) and Heather Soules-Patton (Richard); sisters, Patricia D’Alena (Ralph) and Terry Miller; brothers, Martin Wert Jr. (Chris) and Ronald Wert, Sr (Nancy); five grandchildren; Alexa Ilniski (Shawn), Dylan Johnson, Taylor Hollada, Ryan and Isabella Patton and two great-grandchildren Malia and Vincent Ilniski. Along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin Wert Sr. and Ruth Wert (Bagley), and her brother, Thomas E. Wert Sr.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 4 at 1 p.m. at the Lairsville Firehall, PA. Attendees are encouraged to wear purple in honor of dementia awareness.
