Dolores R. (Getgen) Harvey

Dolores R. (Getgen) Harvey, 86, of Williamsport, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

She was born on March 28, 1939 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Bert E. and Martha Ellen (George) Getgen. She enjoyed her life to the fullest and with her furbaby, Max, until his passing on July 3, 2021 and she spent her days visiting with friends and they would meet for lunch. Dolores was a member of the Church of the Nazerene. She enjoyed Elvis and John Wayne, word search puzzles and watching her television shows. She had a bucket list that she was fulfilling.

Dolores is survived by one daughter, Lela M. Hawley of Williamsport; one son, Northey W. Dean of Somerset; five grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two sisters, Judith Dauber of Hughesville and Doris Heller (Buck) of Dalmatia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by both of her husbands, Earl W. Dean, Jr. and Carl Harvey and three sisters, Lillian Getgen, Sharon Getgen and Ruth Neufer.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date and time.
