Joan Louise Bauder

Joan Louise Bauder, 87, passed away at her home in Warminster, PA surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 22, 2026. Joan was born on February 9, 1939, in Allentown, PA to Harold & Margaret (Ziegler) Voght. She graduated from Fountain Hill High School and married the love of her life, Robert E. Bauder, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage.

Joan was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother cheering on at many sporting events and loved family gatherings and holidays. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Williamsport, PA. Joan was known for her love of gardening and served as President of the Williamsport Garden Club. She enjoyed games of all sorts, sewing and knitting.

Hospitality was another talent as she loved opening up her home to friends and family for impromptu iced or hot tea and spontaneous meals.

Joan is survived by her husband; children, Rob (Mary) Bauder, Keith (ReNata) Bauder, and Jill (Andy) Moynahan; seven grandchildren, William (Melissa) Bauder, Joshua (Angela) Bauder, Aron (Stephanie) Bauder, Rachel (Bauder) Cohen, Kyle Moynahan, Madelyn Bauder and Jared Moynahan; three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Terry (Sandy) Voght and Cheryl (John) Confalone. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Steward Voght, and grandson Daniel Bauder.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 15, at 1:30 p.m. at Christ’s Home (Smyth Hall), 1 Shepherd’s Way, Warminster, PA. 18974. A graveside ceremony will be held in late April at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Allentown, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christ’s Home Children Services.
