Margaret L. “Peg” (Stahl) Kipp
Margaret L. “Peg” (Stahl) Kipp, 85, of Lewisburg and formerly of Montgomery, went to Heaven to be with our Lord Jesus on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
She was born on February 7, 1941, in Montgomery the daughter of the late Franklin R. and Emelen O. (Widell) Stahl. On May 17, 1975, she married the love of her life, Donald E. Kipp, who survives.
Peg was a 1959 graduate of Montgomery High School and started working at Arrolet Corp, later GL Electronics. She later worked as an accountant for Brodart Corp, Weldon Corp and Macke Vending Corp. In 1975 she moved to York County to be the accounting comptroller for the Harrisburg Housing Authority and then York Housing Authority. Learning the need for accounting comptrollers is smaller Housing Authorities, Peg formed her own company, ML Kip LLC. She received many bids through the years to serve in housing authorities throughout Central PA, forming a successful business that still operates today.
Peg was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, where she taught Sunday School. She was also a member of the Monsey Chapter, OES, and the Red Hats Society.
Peg was also fondly known for her custom-made greeting cards.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Craig Rowland, of Ft. Wayne, ID, and Cynthia “Cindy” and Dwayne Williamson, of Camp Hill; a daughter-in-law, Judy Kipp; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Jonnie Stahl, of Hughesville; five grandchildren, Angela, Sean, Austin, Rachelle and Larissa; nine great-grandchildren; two nieces, Nancy and Sandy; two nephews, Elwood and Christopher; and special family friends, Donna and Mike Bender, and their family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in Heaven by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Shawna Kipp; and brother and sister-in-law, Charles “Topper” and Alyce Stahl.
A Celebration of Peg’s life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2349 Old Turnpike Road, Lewisburg.
Private burial will be held in Mazeppa Union Cemetery.
The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg.
