Patricia L. “Pat” Sechler

Patricia L. “Pat” Sechler, 76 of Altoona (formerly Cogan Station), passed away March 3, 2026 at Maybrook Altoona.

She was born on September 3, 1949, in Towanda. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Betty (Maize) Kieffer. She was also a Williamsport Area High School graduate.

Pat was a member of Trinity Gospel Church for many years. She enjoyed singing in church, reading, knitting, gardening and spending time with her family and cats.

Surviving are her children, Christina D. Berkheimer (Chuck) of Duncansville and Terry E. Sechler of Kansas; three grandchildren, Sarah C. Rinker (William) of Duncansville, Jason R. Leonard (Kim) of Mount Union, and Micah L. Leonard of Chest Springs; three great- grandchildren, Autumn, Adalynn, Kyler; two brothers, Harry Kieffer (Chris) of Florida and Dale Kieffer (Gloria) of South Dakota.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years William “Bill” Sechler, a son, Steven M. Gross, and a great-grandchild, Riley Leonard.

A graveside service to honor the life of Pat will be held 10 a.m., Friday March 27 at Wildwood Cemetery, 91 Cemetery Rd, Williamsport Pa. The service will be officiated by Reverend Joel Henderson.
