Seth Edward Eck, 75, of Montoursville, died Monday, March 9, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, in Danville.
Born January 3, 1951, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late James and Beatrice (Light) Eck.
As a 1968 graduate of Montoursville High School, Seth had a passion for his town in which he always called home. He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church for many years and had many friends from all walks of life here in Pennsylvania and in Florida. Seth would spend a lot of time traveling down to Florida where he helped in the kitchen for 12 years at the Stuart Yacht and Country Club. Through his travels he began to acquire an interest in aviation, flight statistics, and the routes commercial flights used. He enjoyed golfing with friends and completing many different types of puzzles. Seth had a vivid sense of humor and exhibited an enthusiasm and wonderment of life.
He is survived by four siblings, Stephen Eck, of Linden, Sarah Light, of Sun City, AZ, Scott Eck, of West Chester, and Stanley Eck, of Glen Mawr.
Seth was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Stuart Eck.
In keeping with Seth's wishes, a private burial in Montoursville Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
