Anna J. McGill

Anna J. McGill, 103, a long-time resident of South Williamsport, passed at home with family at her side on April 11, 2026.

She was born in Williamsport on June 20, 1922, a daughter to the late James and Josephina (Martone) Stanzione.

Anna was a 1941 graduate of Williamsport High School, and a long-time member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church. She was an avid seamstress, often making her own clothes herself, and was a member of the Christian Women Society.

Her husband of 38 years, Robert B. McGill, preceded her in death on February 23, 1993.

Anna is survived by nieces, Josephine and Regina Latini, as well as Bernadette (Dennis) Deitrick.

In addition to her husband Robert, Anna was predeceased by brothers, Alphonse, Joseph, and Louis Stanzione; sisters, Catherine Latini, Mary Stanzione and Phyllis Stanzione; as well as nephew Michael Stanzione.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wed., April 15, 2026 at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, 800 W Central Ave., South Williamsport, PA 17702.
