Betty P. Edkin

Betty P. Edkin, 93, of Montoursville, died Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at WeCare at Sycamore.

Born January 30, 1933, in Montoursville, she was a daughter of the late George and M. Larene (Hofer) Peerman.

Betty was a dedicated walker throughout the town and the cemetery. She always visited her friends in times of need. She donated funds to various organizations such as the Montoursville Cemetery and Pennsylvania College of Technology.

She is survived by a niece, Terry Drebushenko of Oxford, CT.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Milo Edkin; and a sister, Doris Drebushenko.

A private graveside service will be held at Montoursville Cemetery at the family’s convenience.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Montoursville.
