Donna L. Thomas

Donna L. Thomas, 73, of Watsontown, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026, at The Gatehouse at Divine Providence.

Born December 28, 1952, in Montoursville, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Doris (Fry) Stone.

Donna was the wife of Robert Thomas and the mom of her furry four-footed Babe. She lost her long hard battle after struggling with multiple sclerosis for 22 years and chronic kidney disease for a year. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She enjoyed watching the birds fly and feeding the deer in their backyard. In her earlier days she enjoyed knitting blankets for all to use.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Thomas, of Watsontown; a sister, Debra (George) Millheim, of Montoursville; two nieces, Tricia (Chris) Moser, of Montoursville, Tracy Weishaupt, of AZ; two cousins, Connie Kappesser, of TN, Shirley Schmidt, of Bath, NY; and a brother in Alabama.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street Montoursville, with Pastor Martin Coffey officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
