Donna McGee February 13, 1957 – April 15, 2026
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donna McGee, 69 of Mechanicsburg, PA. who passed away quietly in her home on April 15, 2026. Donna was born on February 13, 1957, in West Hazleton PA to the late Edward J. McGee and the late Rose Marie (Johnson) McGee.
Donna is pre-deceased by her brother, Eddie and sister, Joanne. Surviving are sisters, Annemarie DiLella and Mary Jones (Gary). Also surviving are brothers, James McGee (Michelle) and Patrick McGee (Grant) along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own. She loved to video chat with her great-nieces and nephews.
Donna graduated from Pennsbury High School in Levittown PA. and went on to study at Bucks County Community College. Throughout these years she was a gifted athlete playing her part on championship Softball, Basketball, and Field Hockey teams. She had a lifelong passion for the Philadelphia Sports Teams, especially the Eagles and the Phillies.
Throughout her life Donna touched the lives of many individuals with her wisdom, humor, and unwavering positive spirit. She had a wonderful outlook on life. Driven by an endless thirst for knowledge, Donna was a lover of learning and would spend hours on-line researching anything that caught her attention. She was a caregiver for many years and devoted her life to helping others. Her generosity was displayed in the many custom embroidered gifts she would make with her own established embroidery business.
Donna found relaxing at her home at Beaver Lake was her favorite pastime. She had many friends, and if you were lucky enough to be her friend you became her family. I’m certain Donna would like to thank her dear friend Nancy for taking such great care of her in the last several years during her illness.
Donna will be greatly missed and forever remembered by many. She had a zest for life and was passionate, generous, warm, friendly and kind. As Nancy would say, she lived a big life.
At Donna’s request there will be no public service. The family will hold a private celebration of life at Beaver Lake at a later date and time. www.MalpezziFuneralHome.com.
