Elaine M. Swank

Elaine M. Swank, 78, of Hughesville, died Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Wolf Run Village. Born January 4, 1948, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late George Parke III and Thelma (Fry) Parke.

Following graduation from Montoursville High School in 1965, Elaine devoted a period of her life to staying home and raising her children. She would later go on to work for Primus Technologies for about 18 years until her retirement.

She married her husband, Robert Swank, on October 22, 2016, but the two had been together for over 30 loving years. Elaine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who kept family at the center of her life. She took great pride in hosting family dinners and get-togethers, where she could feed and spend time with those she loved most. She especially loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking, cooking, and tending to her plants.

Surviving is her husband, Robert Swank of Hughesville; her three children, Lori (Nathan) Hartle, Craig (MaryBeth) Bomboy, and Mark (Melissa) Bomboy all of Montoursville; step-children, Suzette Swank of Muncy, Deanne Swank of Bloomsburg, and Jeanette (Bob) Seeley of Muncy; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a close niece, Nora Parke of Montoursville.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Parke and a nephew, Michael Parke.

In accordance with Elaine’s wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions go to Church of the Good Shepherd, 827 Good Shepherd Road, Montoursville, PA, 17754.
