Helen E. Beaver
Helen E. Beaver, 88, of Watsontown, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born September 15, 1937 in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter of the late Merle F. and Adeline (Nichols) Hersh. On June 30, 1956 she married Willis W. Beaver and together they celebrated 57 years of marriage until his passing in 2013.
Helen was a 1956 graduate of Jersey Shore High School where she was a proud majorette. She worked and retired from West Company in Montgomery after over 30 years of service. She attended Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, Watsontown. Helen was a 3x cancer survivor.
She enjoyed swimming, jigsaw puzzles, and was a great cook and baker. Helen loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a prayer warrior, always praying for others.
Helen is survived by her two sons, Willis F. Beaver and his wife Amy, and Chester M. Beaver and his wife Barbara, all of Watsontown; five grandchildren, Tamara Hoffman, Adam Beaver, Autumn Gensel, Joshua Beaver, and Jacob Beaver; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, David A. Beaver; step-grandsons, Scott and Dale Lloyd; brother, Warren Hersh; and four sisters, Alberta Rice, Yvonne Blakely, Eva Harer; and Alice Delong.
There will be a viewing held from 11 a.m. to Noon on Thursday April 16, 2026 at Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, 5570 Musser Lane, Watsontown, where a funeral service will be held at Noon, with Pastor Steven Gray, officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
