Jason “Smoke” Lewis

Jason “Smoke” Lewis, 48, of Williamsport, died Sunday, March 29, 2026, at UPMC Williamsport. Born March 21, 1978, in Williamsport, he was the son of Raymond Lewis, Jr. and Debra (Springman) Lewis. Jason married Natalie Ann Laidacker on October 11, 2014, and shared 11 years of marriage.

Jason was very proud of serving his country in the Army National Guard of Williamsport. He was a life member of the Willing Hand Hose Company #1 of Montoursville, and the American Legion Post 104 of Montoursville, as a Legionnaire. Jason served as Plunketts Creek Township Supervisor for several years and was also a member of the Plunketts Creek Fire Department, where he was a big part as a junior firefighter in helping start the haunted hayride at sportsman’s on 87, In the late 90’s he took pride in going to Oregon to help fight forest fires. As a child and into adulthood, he supported and volunteered for the Loyalsock Valley Antique Machinery Association, Inc, where he pulled V8 tractors and grew the love for history, which turned into a yearly Lewis family tradition.

Smoke was an avid motorcycle rider who supported the biker community through benefit rides every chance he could get with his ride or die (Tinder) on the back. Smoke truly loved his Savage Iron Crew brothers and the bonded family from Iron Order MC which almost every weekend was together.

Jason loved to travel and turned every trip into an adventure visiting Gettysburg frequently, his favorite destination and Seneca Lake, as a child many summers at the Springman family cabin, many days fishing on the lake, reminiscing many memories as an adult returning frequently to the finger lakes with his wife Nat, who completed his life from the day they met and was his rock. But most of all, Jason loved being a grandpa, “POP”!
