John W. Monahan

John W. Monahan, 63, of Montoursville, died Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his home. Born July 20, 1962, in Williamsport, he was the son of John J. and Theresa M. (Wilson) Monahan.

John loved working with wood. He was an avid runner who enjoyed kayaking, bike riding, swimming, and cross-country skiing. John worked as a contractor for Tallman Waxing Floor Services.

John is survived by sisters, Tessa M. (Charles) DeLoach, of Linton, IN, Mary B. (Ron) Saputo, of Mikado, MI, and brother, Daniel Monahan, of Brooklyn, NY.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by sisters, Amy Burleson, and Ellen Fry.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to McCarty~Thomas Funeral Home, Montoursville.
