Michael L. “Mike” Sharrow, 68, of Montoursville, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026 at UPMC Williamsport. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Marcie D. (Worthington) Sharrow.
Born September 2, 1957, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late George W. and Mabel B. (Berry) Sharrow.
Mike was a graduate of Williamsport Area High School and went on to earn an associates degree from the former WACC. Mike spent over 40 years as a talented draftsman for the former Lunaire, now Thermal Products Solutions.
Throughout his distinguished umpire career, Michael brought steadiness, integrity, and a deep love of the sport to every field he stepped onto. He umpired Little League, Babe Ruth, and high school baseball, and his skill and dedication led him to the honor of working at two Little League World Series. He held various positions during his umpire career, and in each role, he carried out his responsibilities with professionalism, fairness, and a calm demeanor.
In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by a step-son, Anthony Pulizzi (Natasha), of AZ; two grandchildren, Haylie and Andrew; a brother, William D. Sharrow; his mother-in-law, Frances Worthington; a brother-in-law, Mark Worthington (Carolyn); three sisters-in-law, Kristi Ross (Adam), Yvonne Worthington, and Debbie Sharrow; three nieces, Dr. Jessica Sharrow, Lea Worthington, and Jennifer Winters; and three nephews, Spencer Ross, and Alex and Joel Worthington.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Stephen L. Sharrow; his father-in-law, Jim Worthington; and a brother-in-law, Scott Worthington.
A viewing and time of visitation with Mike’s family will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 17 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport.
