Ronald L. Shireman

Ronald L. Shireman, 74, of Williamsport, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Muncy Place.

He was the beloved husband of Jeanne M. (Miosi) Shireman with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Born March 17, 1952 in Williamsport, Ron was the son of June M. (Dietrich) Shireman of Montoursville and the late Robert J. Shireman.

He was a 1970 graduate of South Williamsport High School then earned a degree in Business Management from Penn College.

For more than 30 years, Ron was employed by J.C. Penney, beginning at its Fourth Street location and later at the Lycoming Mall, before retiring in 2018.

In his free time, he liked to play golf and attend classic car shows.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Shireman is survived by his children, Michelle Cuff (Terrance) of Williamsport, Ronald J. Shireman (Katie) of Norristown, and Jeanine Crossley (Travis) of Williamsport; grandchildren, Kayla, Tylor, Ashley, Trinity, Norah, Aidan, Alyssa, Emma and Keira; and six great grandchildren.

A service to honor the life of Ron will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, April 21st at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond Street, Williamsport.

A visitation will be held the evening prior from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, April 20th, also at Sanders Mortuary.
