William H. Keller, Jr.

He was born on August 28, 1942, in Williamsport, a son of the late William H. Keller, Sr. and Ruth (Secrist) Keller. A skilled carpenter by trade, Bill worked faithfully until his retirement in 2006. He was active in several organizations and valued the fellowship they provided. He was a member of The Grotto, The Republican League, and the Masonic Temple Association of Williamsport. In his free time, Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending Jersey Shore football games. He especially loved spending time with his pets, Pokey and Bear.

Bill was the beloved husband of Charlene (Patterson) Keller, together they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage. He also leaves behind his children, William F. Keller (Julie), and Ann Grimm (James); and step-children Danny Sunderland, Debbie Bramhall (Alan), and Delene Sunderland. He was a proud “Pap” to Theresa, Billy, Brandon, Myranda, Jordan, Megan, Niklas, Darrell, David, Derek, Dale, Eric, Devin, Darren and his wife Andrea, Dalton, and Dallas; and was blessed with 23 great-grandchildren. His family was the center of his world, and he found great happiness in watching it grow through the generations.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, David “Red” Keller, and his grandson, Joshua Smith.

The family will hold their own celebration of Bill’s life on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1 p.m. at The Grotto, South Williamsport.
