Albert Eugene Boyer

Albert Eugene Boyer, 78, passed away on May 15, 2026 at Edenbrook North Skilled Nursing Facility in Williamsport, PA succumbing to the crippling effects of aortic stenosis and vascular dementia.

Albert “Al” “Buzz” Boyer was born December 9, 1947 in Williamsport to the late Owen Jay & Geraldine Boyer.

Albert married Ellen (Marsh) Boyer on June 3, 1967 and celebrated 42 years of marriage before the untimely passing of Ellen on June 13, 2009.

Al enjoyed numerous interests in his life, had an extensive and diverse collection of friends, was a member of many private clubs in the area and volunteered at countless community events. His “Midway Crew” held a special place in his heart and were his extended family.

Albert was preceded in death by father, Owen J & mother, Geraldine; wife, Ellen; daughter, Lori (Boyer) Pfiester; brother, James J; sister in-law, Rebekah “Becky”; father in-law, George C Marsh & mother in-law, Elsie A Marsh; brother in-law, Ernest L Schmouder.

Albert is survived by his son, Larry Boyer; daughter in-law, Karen (Rantuccio) Boyer; granddaughter, Margaret Rose Boyer; grandson, Michael Anthony Boyer and his wife, Lauren (Eckenhoff) Boyer; great-grandson, Theodore “Teddy” Boyer; great-grandson, Adrian Boyer; Richard Pfiester father of granddaughter, AnnMarie Pfiester & grandson, Richard “Ricky” Pfiester; sister in-law, Marilyn L. Bidlespacher (George); sister in-law, Marie Schmouder; brother in-law, John E. Marsh (Crista); brother in-law, Stanley W. Marsh (Diane).

In keeping with Albert’s wishes, no memorial service will be held. He will be returned to the earth as ash at location(s) of his selection and on a date to be set by his family.
