Dennis C. Ruddy

Dennis C. Ruddy, a wonderful son, brother and friend, passed away at Centennial Hospital in Las Vegas, Nev. on May 7, 2026, after a brief illness.

He was born on Nov. 19, 1951, a son of Henry C. and Carole L. Ruddy, he graduated from Loyalsock High School in 1969 and from Penn State University in 1973.

He worked as a chemical engineer for the Environmental Protection Agency for 30 years. His travels took him to forty-four states and parts of Europe.

Dennis was a very thoughtful person and was always there to lend a helping hand to someone in need.

He attended many Broadway shows and enjoyed visiting New Orleans during the Mardi Gras. He was an avid hiker and enjoyed hiking and sightseeing trips to Utah, Arizona and California. He truly lived life to the fullest and will be missed.

He is survived by his sister, Carole of Michigan; several cousins and many friends.

Burial is to be in Montoursville Cemetery.
