James Larue Frey

James Larue Frey, 77, of Muncy, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2026 at his home.

Born August 14, 1948 in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Bessie (Foust) Frey. In 1989 he married the former Belinda Springman, who survives. Together they celebrated 36 years of marriage.

He worked at Mid-Atlantic Fasteners in Winfield until retiring in April of 2011.

In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by a brother, Edward Frey and his wife Tracy; two nieces, Tiffany Bieber and Adrienne Philbin; a sister-in-law, Darlis Frey; and his best friend, Kimberly.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Larry Frey.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, May 18 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St. Muncy, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m.
