Jonathon L. Correll

Jonathon L. Correll, 34, of Williamsport, died Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at home.

Jonathan was a graduate of Penn College (bachelor’s degree in segal studies), George Washington University (master’s in legislative affairs), and Bloomsburg University (master’s in curriculum development). Jonathan’s goal was always to make the world a better and kinder place, advocating for acceptance and freedom of personal choice. They were an avid reader, historian, and gaming “nerd”. They were a wonderful dad to their rescued fur-kids, Margo, Kiri, and Trooper.

Jonathon is survived by their wife, Alyssa Correll, with whom they shared 8 years of marriage; as well as parents, Dennis and Verna Correll, of Montoursville; brother, Marcus (Rachel Yost) Correll, of Arlington, Va.; grandmother, Kay Hoag, of Tioga; and family friend, Carl Matteson, of Tioga.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, May 21, from 5 to 6 p.m. at McCarty Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville. A life celebration service will be held at a later date. The family will provide the flowers, and suggest memorial contributions to Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701 or to TheTrevorProject.org.
