Joseph S. Opetosky, Jr. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at the age of 79. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan’s Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St., at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 4 to 6 p.m. Joe’s Funeral Service will take place following at 6 p.m. with Deacon Dan Hurley. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 11 a.m. at NY State Veterans Cemetery, Ovid, NY.
