Marieva Williams

Marieva Williams, 90 of Montoursville, passed away peacefully at Geisinger Medical Center of Muncy, on May 16, 2026. Born July 7, 1935, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Raymond C. and Edna (Merrill) Egli. Marieva married Glen C. Williams Jr. on June 3, 1955, and shared 64 years of marriage prior to his passing on September 16, 2019.

Marieva and Glen shared a wonderful life. Marieva was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother who enjoyed attending Penn State football games, playing cards with card club, golf and traveling. Marieva enjoyed owning several restaurants over the years and loved to cook. Like her unique first name, she was one of a kind, loved by many with a zest for life and a great sense of humor.

Marieva is survived by daughters, Susan I. Williams, of Montoursville, Janet M. (Joseph) Lecce, of Williamsport; grandchildren, Cheryl Kane, Stacey McCourt, Amanda Montgomery, Kyle Eshbach, Tayler Turner, Joey Lecce, and 7 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marieva was preceded in death by her husband, Glen C. Williams Jr.; brother, Gary Egli; sisters, Shirley Bohlin, and Ruth Yeagle.

A celebration of life service will be announced in the coming months.

The family suggest memorial contributions to Montoursville Presbyterian Church 205 Tule St., Montoursville, PA 17754.
