Marjorie “Marge” (Bebble) Killian

Marjorie “Marge” (Bebble) Killian, affectionately known as, Mom, Grammy, Nene, Great Grammy, and Deanie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Marjorie was born in Canton, a daughter of the late Ben and Luella Bebble. She grew up in the rural area of Roaring Branch and attended Canton schools. She graduated from Canton High School in 1950. After graduation, she went to work as a typist at the Grit Publishing Company and later as a switchboard operator and typist at the Lycoming Hotel. In later years, she attended community college and travel school in Pittsburgh. She retired from Susquehanna Health System as a National Registered Unit Clerk and was also a Registered Travel Agent for AAA Travel.

She married the love of her life, Frank Killian, in 1952 and they were married 60 years before he passed away. Together, they raised their five children and then began many years of traveling. They escorted many trips and cruises for AAA Travel and did many on their own. After her retirement from Susquehanna Health System, she was a volunteer and did the planning and escorting for the Divine Retiree Travelers. The money they earned from those trips was donated to the Light of Love, The Gatehouse, and the Susquehanna Health Foundation.

Marge also was a dedicated volunteer at Becht and Schick Loyalsock schools for 20 years and was fondly know to teachers and students as “Nene”.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Frankie and Scott Allen Killian; two sisters, Mary Kelly and Jane May; and brother, Bennie Bebble.

Marjorie is survived by a daughter, Margie Stopper (Denny) of Williamsport; two sons, Tom Killian (Sue) of Grove City; and Shawn Killian (Sandy) of Williamsport; 11 grandchildren, Kelly Jones (Andy), Ryan Killian (Natasha), Shane Killian (Amy), Erin Fad (AG), Shannon Magaro (Andrew), Seamus Killian, Casey Killian, Stephen Stopper, Lindsey Lesher (Dylan), Colby Killian, and Caitlyn Killian; eight great grandchildren, Ashton and Bricen Jones, Aubrey Killian, Ezekial and Lydia Killian, Gwynevere Fad, and Sebastian and Adrianna Magaro.

Marjorie will be laid to rest with her husband and son in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The family will have a private celebration of her life at a later date.

Donations may be made in her name to the James V. Brown Library, as Marge was an avid reader and frequent visitor to the library.
