Nancy Fox Aderhold
Nancy Fox Aderhold, 76, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church of Macon. The family will greet friends following the service.
Daughter of the late Clayton Miracle Fox and Edna Mae Vansant Fox, Nancy was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on July 1, 1949, and graduated from Williamsport High School in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, in 1967. She dedicated much of her life to nurturing children and supporting her community. While raising her own family, she was actively involved in her children’s schools, serving as PTO president, a devoted band parent, and a member of the school board.
Nancy’s love for children extended beyond her home. She ran a home daycare for 15 years, providing a warm and safe environment for countless families, before later becoming a nanny. Caring for children was not just her work, it was her calling and her joy.
A faithful member of her church, Nancy was deeply involved in the life of her congregation at First Presbyterian Church of Macon. Her faith and kindness touched many lives.
Nancy found great happiness in simple pleasures: reading a good book, spending cherished time with her grandchildren, or traveling to new places. She also had a special fondness for Corvettes and once traveled across the country with Charles, traveling 9,000 miles in 30 days and stopping wherever they wanted.
Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Charles Aderhold; daughter, Carrie Fisher (Nathan) of Snellville, Georgia; sons, Seth Alan Aderhold of Macon, Georgia and Matthew David Aderhold (Kim) of Villa Rica, Georgia; grandchildren: Tristan Aderhold, Nathan Fisher IV, Audra Fisher, Ella Kate Aderhold, Abigail Aderhold, and Gracie Aderhold; brother, Del Fox (Diahn) of Dairy, Oregon; sister, Deborah Cox (Robert) of Ocala, Florida; sisters-in-law, Linda Stelene and Stephanie Jackson (Pat) both of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, James Aderhold.
