Rose C. Palmatier

Rose C. Palmatier, 93, of Jersey Shore, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at Edenbrook South.

Born November 28, 1932 in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter to the late Fred J. Winter and the former Margaret Ulsamer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin A. Palmatier; a son, Martin Patrick Palmatier; sisters, Mary Winter, Betty Lupole, and Louise Winter; and her brothers, John, Frank and Carl Winter.

Rose was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Her greatest joy was being at her grandchildren’s sporting events.

She is survived by her children, Fred J. (Doreen) Palmatier, of Williamsport, Mark E. (Yvonne) Palmatier, of Jersey Shore, Timothy J. (Paula) Palmatier, of Williamsport, and David G. Palmatier, of Williamsport; 12 grandchildren, Justin, Chucky, Melissa, Christy, Trevor, Mandy, Matt, Lindsey, Rachel, Hanna, Courtney, and Dalton; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Rider, of Montoursville and Esther (Mike) Morris, of Williamsport; and her brothers, Joseph Winter, of Williamsport, Phillip Winter, of Williamsport, Dave (Norma) Winter, of Williamsport, and Robert Winter, of Jersey Shore.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bobby Wrench and family for their watchful eye over our mother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 15, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 6001 Jacks Hollow Road, Williamsport, PA 17702. There will be no visitation.

She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
