Victor (Vic) Eugene Wright

Victor (Vic) Eugene Wright, 68, passed away on May 1, 2026 surrounded by family. Victor was born on July 23, 1957 in Williamsport. He leaves behind his wife, Kristine; children, Monique, Levi (Dawn), Gary, Steven (McKenzie), Matt and brother, Robert Wright (Wendy); sister, Virginia Wright (Ferg), and sister, Carla Wright. Grandchildren, Christian (Hannah), Marina, Mia, Kirra, Carter, Nova and his best friend, David Johnson (Debbie) will miss him tremendously along with all nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert Sr. and Shirley Wright and sister, Barbara. He was a proud Lancer graduate in 1976 and graduated from WACC. An intimidating athlete on the football field or in the gym, Vic’s soft side was on display with the dogs he spoiled across the years. His career started at Bethlehem Steel but found his calling in helping people in need of guidance, fostering dozens of young men in his home, and retiring from the Loyalsock School District in 2025. He was a consistent force that tried to keep all around him moving forward, not allowing circumstances to dictate a person’s future and always with a sense of pride. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you lift someone up who needs a mentor.
