Francine Concetta Crooks

Francine Concetta Crooks, 62, of Trout Run, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at UPMC Williamsport. She shared a wonderful life and 39 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Travis Edward Crooks.

Born January 8, 1964, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Vittorio Alfred and Concetta Eva (Romano) Mines.

Francine is a graduate of Liberty High School and went on to earn her Cosmetology License, spending her career as a successful hairstylist, owning her own salon and working for Princess House.

Francine was known for the joy she found in being with her family, and she loved caring for others, always having an open home and an open heart. Whether through a warm conversation, a helping hand, or a thoughtful gesture, Francine showed her love in practical and meaningful ways. She especially loved giving gifts, and she found happiness in making others happy. She was always giving to people, and her loving heart was one of her most treasured qualities.

Her faith in Jesus Christ was a central part of her life and she was devoted to serving her Lord and Savior. Francine was bold and steadfast in her faith (2 Timothy 1:7) and placed her trust in God (Isaiah 40:31) throughout her life.

Along with her husband, Francine is survived by eight children, Travis, Kirsten, Jessica, Caleb, Abraham, Alexandra, Luke, and Ariana; her twelve grandchildren, Concetta, Ali, Ronin, Audrey, Aurora, Eowyn, Antonio, Amari, Clementine, Forrest, Atreus, and Gabriel; her five siblings, John, Theresa, Elizabeth, Catherine, and Victoria; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Francine’s family will host a memorial service to honor her life at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 18th at City Church, 36 East 4th St., Williamsport PA 17701. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
