Frank R. Taddeo
Frank R. Taddeo, 98, most recently of Montoursville, passed away peacefully at The Gatehouse with loving family by his side on June 13, 2026.
He was born in Williamsport on February 16, 1928, a son to the late Antonio and Maria (Befi) Taddeo.
Frank worked at AVCO Lycoming, both before and after serving for twelve years in the US Air Force, retiring as a stockkeeper. He was known for spending time with family, keeping up with current events, and telling everyone about his niece’s corn pudding, his favorite dish at Thanksgiving. He was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan, spending much of his free time catching the games. Frank also enjoyed having lunch with friends at Dolly’s Diner and weekly trips to Long Island Pizza for lunch at his favorite pizza shop.
Frank is survived by his sister, Marguerite “Peggy” Waltz of Williamsport; nieces and nephews, Joy (Harry) Wynn, Cheryl (George) Pisarz, Francella Shade, Donna Bolster, Denise Drobnick, Stacie (Rob) Sweet, and Craig (Dawne) Waltz, as well as many extended family members whom Frank loved dearly.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Frank will be reunited with his parents in Wildwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions be made to Susquehanna Health Foundation (The Gatehouse), susquehannahealthfoundation.org/ways-to-give/make-a-donation.
