Marjorie G. (Mudge) Wetherbee

Marjorie G. (Mudge) Wetherbee, 89, of Wellsboro, passed away Sunday June 21, 2026, surrounded by family, at the Green Home in Wellsboro. She was born June 21, 1937, in Blossburg, to Robert and Lillis (Welch) Mudge. Marjorie graduated from the Wellsboro High School and earned her associate’s degree at the Elmira Beauty School. On August 20, 1960, she married Gordon A. Wetherbee, with whom she shared 39 years of marriage. Marjorie owned and operated Etc. Antiques on East Avenue, was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wellsboro, and enjoyed reading. She was active in the community and supportive of events like Laurel Fest and Dickens of a Christmas.

Marjorie is survived by a daughter, Kelly Wetherbee of Wellsboro; a granddaughter, Darci Pollock (Samuel) of Wellsboro; a son-in-law, Tim Warriner of Wellsboro; a great-grandchild, Graham Pollock of Wellsboro; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Kim Warriner, and a sister, Wilma Money.

Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to Marjorie’s life from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday June 26, 2026 at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA 16901, a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with rev.
