Melanie Heller

Melanie Heller, 59, of Jersey Shore, died Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born January 4, 1967, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Ray and Janice (Rider) Tyler.

Melanie graduated from Montoursville High School in 1984. She continued her education at the former Williamsport Area Community College and graduated in 1986. Melanie and her father purchased a floral shop and began working at Carriage House Florist, where she continued her love of flowers and plants. She loved mixing flowers and butterflies in any gift or photos she could. Melanie had a heart of gold which was shown through the many gifts she bought for others. She was always shopping on QVC and rarely bought anything for herself. Birthdays, anniversaries, or any special event, she thought of gifts to make everyone smile. She shared her family’s love for music and enjoyed going to hear local bands play, and occasional big-name concerts.

She was a member of the Fraternal Orders of Eagles and the Jersey Shore American Legion Post 36. She spent many hours riding with her husband Robby on their Harley Davidson.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Robby” Heller, of Jersey Shore, and his sons, Zackery and David Heller; as well as a grandson, Benjamin Heller; a brother, Tim (Billie Jean) Tyler, of Montoursville; four nephews, Joshua Tyler, Justin Tyler, Damon Tyler, Alex Tyler; a niece, Brooklin Tyler, a step-mother, Karen Tyler, of Montoursville; a mother-in-law, Peggy Heller-Mazzotta; her friend and closet confidant, Crystal Watts, of Loyalsock; and her beloved dog, Taz.
