R. Elaine Probasco

R. Elaine Probasco, 84, of Trout Run passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 12, 2026.

Born June 18, 1941 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late William W. and Mary H. (Kunes) Probst.

Elaine was a graduate of Williamsport High School. She was an executive secretary for the Williamsport Hospital.

Elaine enjoyed gardening, genealogy, horse-riding, embroidery and was an excellent cook. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Surviving is her husband, Virgil Probasco; her daughter, Edith L. Dunlap and a sister, Carmen Kohr (Richard).

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth L. Dunlap; two sons, Timothy M. Dunlap and Kenneth P. Dunlap and a brother, William Probst (Rebecca)

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 100 Walnut Street, Montoursville.

Burial will be held in Wildwood Cemetery.
