Suzi Keller

Suzi Keller, 82, passed away at her home in Williamsport on the morning of Friday, June 26, 2026.

The daughter of William and Mary Usmar, Suzi was a native of Montoursville who attended Montoursville High School and Bucknell University in Lewisburg. After graduating college, she was a member of the Junior League of Williamsport and taught English in both the Montoursville and Williamsport school districts. She later managed her parents’ women’s clothing store and bridal boutique, Mary Usmar and Miss Amanda, which was a community fixture for three decades on Broad Street in Montoursville.

After nine years in the Harrisburg area where she worked for the Legislative Reference Bureau of Pennsylvania, Suzi and her husband Seth Keller returned to Williamsport in 1995 and built a home in Loyalsock Township where she spent the final 30 years of her life.

An avid reader and fan of the arts, Suzi enjoyed a good drama, whether in a book, on a stage or on screen. She had a passion for dance, too, and not only appreciated watching dance performances but also took up tap dancing as an adult-even performing at local recitals to the delight of family and friends. She also volunteered as a wardrobe assistant for local productions at the Community Theatre League in Williamsport.

Suzi was a loyal and caring mother, wife, and friend who was never afraid to speak her mind or share her beliefs, especially in the service of standing up for causes she championed and people who were important to her.

And for 19 years, her protective devotion to her family included her third “baby”, her dachshund Boris, who shared her fiery personality and was her constant, faithful companion.

Suzi is survived by her husband of nearly 59 years, Seth Keller Sr., her sister Candace Craddock, her children Amanda Kessler and Seth Keller Jr. and her grandsons Wyatt Kessler and Dhilan Keller. The family will be having a Celebration of Life to honor Suzi at a date and place to be determined.
