Donald E. Price

Donald E. Price, 93, of Muncy, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Born July 1, 1933, in Hughesville, he was the son of the late Donald and Alma (Reese) Price. Donald attended Hughesville High School and participated in both soccer and band during his time there. He graduated in 1951.

Following graduation, he proudly enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served on active duty from 1951 to 1955. After his four-year tour, he served in the Reserves from 1955 to 1959. He enjoyed reminiscing about his experiences and time spent in the service. Once his time in the Reserves was over, Donald started a dedicated 40-year career at Andritz Sprout Bauer as a maintenance purchaser.

On August 31, 1956, Donald married the love of his life, Patsy A. Robbins. Together they built a life centered on faith, love, and family, sharing nearly 70 wonderful years of marriage.

Donald had a deep love and devotion to his family. They were the center of his world, and he never missed an opportunity to support them. Whether attending his children's and grandchildren's activities, spending hours playing games, or making treasured memories together at the family cabin in Pine Creek, Donald's love was evident in everything he did. He was an amazing example of what every husband, father, and grandfather should be.

Donald appreciated and loved his church family at Pleasant View Wesleyan Church in Muncy. The church blessed him with lifelong friendships. He was also grateful for wonderful neighbors that were always willing to lend a helping hand.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Patsy, of Muncy are two daughters, Penelope Price of Muncy and Pamela (Thomas) Husler of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Abigail (Clint) Saxon of Minneola, FL, Andrea Husler of Mechanicsburg; his "bonus daughter" Ruth Cheshire; a niece Denise (Frank) Angevine and their family; nephews David (Anne) Zerbe and their family, and James Parsons and his son.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his sisters and brother-in-laws, Shirley (James) Parsons and Anna (Roy) Zerbe.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2026, at Pleasant View Wesleyan Church, E. Penn St. Muncy, Pennsylvania, with Rev. Stephen R. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to Pleasant View Wesleyan Church at the address above. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at mccartythomas.com.
