Helen M. Pentz

Helen M. Pentz, 90, widow of Harry T. Pentz, of Montoursville, PA, passed away at home on Friday, July 10, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 18, 1935 in Cogan House Twp., Lycoming Co., she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Clara (Caldwell) Stryker.

She was a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1954.

For over 31 years she was employed at GTE at Halls Station and Reach Road.

She was a charter and active member of the Montoursville Lioness Club and received the Melvin Jones and the PA Fellow awards and was a member of the Montoursville Garden Club.

Helen is survived by a son, Garry (Lisa) Pentz of Montoursville, a daughter, Donna Maxwell (Bob) of Montoursville; four granddaughters, Emma Pentz, Danielle Ashton (Jim), Christine Lucera and Laura Rankin (Kyle); seven great grandchildren, Brent (Allisyn), Paige, Lyla, Max, Mayce, Anthony and Garret; two great-great grandchildren, Paul and Faith and a sister, Joanne Litzelman of Montoursville.

Along with her husband and parents she was predeceased by two brothers, Lloyd and Harry Stryker; brother in law, Richard “Dick” Litzelman and her fiancé of many years Bradley Fulmer.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Private Interment will be held in Montoursville Cemetery.
