Jane L. Fillman

Jane L. Fillman, 93, of Williamsport, died Monday, June 29, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Aaron H. Fillman, on September 22, 1994.

Born June 6, 1933, in East Orange, NJ, she was a daughter of the late William G. Lanterman and Helen (Hopkins) Gray, and step-daughter of Frank Gray.

Jane was a 1951 graduate of Blossburg Joint High School and a 1954 graduate of the Williamsport Hospital Nursing Program. She worked as a registered nurse for Cornerstone Family Health, Williamsport Hospital, and Divine Hospital until her retirement. Jane was a member of Agape Fellowship and she loved the friendships that she made there. She was also a member of the Williamsport Hospital Nursing Alumni Association.

Surviving are two sons, Allan E. Fillman (Penny) of South Williamsport, and James L. Fillman (Patty) of Montoursville; a daughter, Penny J. Drum (Shawn Young), of South Williamsport; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Fillman; two half-sisters, Lynn Wells and Gale Heaberg, and several extended family members and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jane was preceded in death by a son, Bruce A. Fillman; a granddaughter, Julie Fillman; a great-granddaughter, Tanasia; a sister, Peg Lawson; and five step-siblings.

A funeral service to honor Jane’s life will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 7 at Agape Fellowship, 485 East Third Street, Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 10 until the time of service, Tuesday, at church. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jane’s name to Agape Fellowship of the Mennonite Church, 485 East Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
