Karen L. Stom, 66, of Williamsport, died Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center – Danville.
Born June 30, 1960, in Altoona, she was a daughter of Peggy (Brochi) Stom and the late Glenn R. Stom Sr.
Karen retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2025, after having worked there for 20 years. She truly loved her job and the many friendships she made with customers over the years.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, of Cape Canaveral, Fla., are four siblings, Glenn (Nadine) Stom Jr. of Fla., David (Penny) Stom of Oval, and Gary Stom of Tyrone; a sister, Diane Ecker of Conn.; her companion of 28 years, Walley Foster of Williamsport; a brother-in-law, Mike Riffe of Gibsonia; two sisters-in-law, Michele Stom of Conn., and Beth Stom of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, Karen was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Riffe; two brothers, Mark and Craig Stom; and a sister-in-law, Wendy Stom.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
