Linda J. Hess, 78, of Cogan Station, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026 at home with her family
by her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles L. "Charley" Hess.

Linda was a 1965 graduate of Williamsport Area High School and continued her education at Newport Business, earning an associates degree.
Linda worked many jobs throughout her life but was most proud of the time she put in building her family and taking care of her own home.
In her younger years, Linda enjoyed bowling, but found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and making memories with them.
One of Linda's favorite pastimes was watching her family members play baseball. She took great pride in cheering them on and following their games, often traveling all over the East Coast to
watch them.
Above all, Linda was always there for her family. Her love was constant, and her support was unwavering. She offered comfort in difficult times, encouragement in moments of uncertainty, and joy in
times of celebration. Her family could rely on her strength, her kindness, and her willing heart.
In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by two children, Michelle Cunningham (Daryl), of Franklington, NC, and Ryan Hess (Amanda), of Williamsport; four grandchildren, Caleb Cunningham (Breahna), Chelsey Cunningham, Chace Hess, and Lance DeBrody; two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Callie Cunningham; two brothers, Terry Hoffman and Clarence Hoffman, Jr.; as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Along with her parents, Linda was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Lepley; two siblings, Trudy McQuaid and Peter Hoffman; three step-siblings, Michael, Nickalus, and Antoinette Mastracco; as well as her in-laws, Gordon and Margaret Hess.
