Rose E. (Mason) Reese

Rose E. (Mason) Reese, 80 of Muncy, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.

Born June 25, 1946 in Wellsboro, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Campbell) Mason.

Rose was a 1964 graduate of Wellsboro High School. She was a very active member of Moreland Baptist Church. Rose enjoyed crafting, jewelry, cooking, and bird watching in her garden.

She was very social and loved talking to her neighbors, and helping anyone she could. Most of all she loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother, cherishing all the time spent with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Michelle L. Salisbury and her husband Bob, of Landisburg, and Teresa M. McInroy, of Muncy; three grandchildren, Kendra Harrison, Corina Snyder, and Michael Salisbury; four great-grandchildren, Cash Salisbury, Addyson, Maverick, and Parker Harrison; brother, Robert Mason, of Richmond, VA; and sister, Marsha Mason, of Wellsboro.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a husband, Michael McInroy; two brothers, Donnie and Harold Mason; and three sisters, Shirley Weber, Alma Makin, and Vera Driebelbies.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 at Moreland Baptist Church. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Muncy Valley Moose Lodge from Noon to 3 p.m.
