Stephen Charles Wenner
Surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, Stephen Charles Wenner, 75, passed away on July 11, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, Steve lived a life defined by love, laughter, and devotion to his family.
Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Susan (née Rice); his children, Kristin (Dave Huston) and Steve (Anne); and his cherished grandchildren, Ellie, Emma, Tyler, Evie, and Emily. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tiffany, and parents, LeRoy and Adabelle (Hunt) Wenner.
A man of deep integrity and quiet faith, Steve valued hard work, service to others, and love of country. He proudly served as a Russian linguist in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. His commitment to service inspired both of his children, who went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force. Following his military service, he built a career in the construction industry.
Steve’s steady presence, kind heart, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed. His legacy lives on in the family he loved so dearly and in the values he instilled in those who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Camp Mount Luther.
