Carol F. Mantle, 88, of Jersey Shore, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026 at Nippenose Valley Village.
Born July 13, 1938 in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter to the late Matthew F. Ferguson and the former Thelma Frye. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clair R. Mantle; a son, Craig A. Mantle; and a brother, M. Ray Ferguson.
Carol was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Chris R. (Robin) Mantle, of Dillsburg; two daughters, Cheri E. Mantle, of Grand Junction, Colo., and Caren R. Brooks, of Jersey Shore; grandchildren, Brittney (David) Worden, Brent Hermanussen and Bryce Hermanussen; and two great-grandchildren, Eli and Aiden Worden.
She will be laid to rest with her husband in the Jersey Shore Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
