Diann L. Mason, 85, of South Williamsport, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at UPMC Williamsport. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Richard C. Mason, whom she married February 13, 1959.
Born February 2, 1941, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret L. (Straka) Condo.
Diann was proud to have earned an associate's degree in Business from Penn College in her later years. She was a woman who had many talents and worked many jobs, her last and most rewarding job being as an aide for the handicapped for South Williamsport School District.
She was a proud woman of faith and was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church where she had served as a secretary for many years. She and her husband went on many trips both in the United States and abroad throughout their lives together. Diann loved to work on crafts including ceramics, sewing, crocheting, and other ventures. Throughout her life, she was an avid bowler, earning many trophies and earning the title of Runner Up Bowler of the Year many times.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Kimberly L. Mason (Michael Cox), Kendall L. Mason, Timothy A. Mason (Suzette), and Michelle L. Lewis; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two siblings, Andrea Kopp and Christine Cummings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard C. Mason, II; a grandson, Bradlee Mason; and two siblings, Paul and Stephen Condo.
A Mass of Christian Burial to honor Diann's life will be held 10 a.m., Friday, August 14 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 800 W Central Ave, South Williamsport, PA 17702. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of service, Friday, at church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Diann's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
