Eric Weiner passed away peacefully at his home in San Diego, Calif, on Friday, July 31, 2026.
Eric was born on August 12, 1962, in Sunbury, Pa, and graduated from Loyalsock High School in 1979. He spent many years helping his parents at the family's store, Youngland, before leaving to travel around the world.
Eric had a deep love for travel, skiing, spending time at the family's river lot in Linden, and he never missed happy hour. Above all, he cherished his dogs and friends, who were a constant source of companionship throughout his life.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and June Weiner, and his brother, John Weiner. He is survived by his nephew, Jacob Weiner of Williamsport, Pa, and his niece, Amber Weiner of Lutherville, Md.
