Mark Richard Hazen, 69, of LeRoy, IL passed away Tuesday July 28, 2026, at home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon Saturday August 1, 2026, with a memorial service to follow at Noon all at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home LeRoy. Memorial donations may be made to Living Well United Senior Center, LeRoy, IL.
Mark was born March 26, 1957, in Williamsport, PA, a son of Richard and Nadine (Folmar) Hazen. He married Francine Harpenau. She survives.
Survivors include daughter, Elizabeth (Tyler) Gambrel; son, Zachary Hazen; grandson, Rex Gambrel; two brothers, Kelly (Penny) Hazen and Vaughn (Susan) Hazen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mark grew up in Jersey Shore, PA until graduating High School where he then moved to Illinois. He worked for 22 years until retirement at L.S. Building Products. He loved to go primitive camping, fishing, hunting, and black powder rifle shooting. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.
